How to Tell If Your Chakras Are Closed

Do you ever feel drained no matter how much you rest? Your energy centers might be trying to tell you something.

When your chakras — your body’s energy centers — are blocked or closed, your physical, emotional, and spiritual systems start to misfire. You may not always notice it at first, but over time, the misalignment starts showing up in how you feel, think, and act.

Blocked chakras can create real energetic imbalances that no amount of sleep, coffee, or motivation can fix.

Signs & Symptoms

Here are a few signs your chakras might be closed:

  • Chronic fatigue or emotional burnout

  • Feeling ungrounded or lost

  • Irritability or mood swings

  • Brain fog or confusion

  • Physical discomfort (tight chest, back pain, tension)

  • Feeling spiritually disconnected

Quick Tip

A great way to start reconnecting with your chakras is to sit quietly and visualize each one glowing its corresponding color, from red at your root to violet at your crown. Even five minutes of this daily can create gentle shifts.
